Bio -
I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto
Collision Repair, is a not-for-profit training organization
whose Vision is that "every person in the collision
industry, current and future, has the necessary knowledge
and skills relevant to their position to achieve a complete
and safe repair." Jason Bartanen is the Technical Director
for I-CAR and is located at the I-CAR Tech Centre in
Appleton, WI. The Tech Centre is responsible for research
and development of I-CAR training programs; including
classroom, online, and qualification testing programs.
During development of I-CAR courses, the Tech Centre works
closely with vehicle, product, tool, and equipment makers.
I-CAR works closely with the vehicle manufactures to deliver
specialized hands-on training in Appleton. Over the years,
I-CAR has delivered hands-on training for the Audi and
Jaguar aluminum repair networks; for the Chevrolet Corvette
ZR1; and the Nissan GT-R. I-CAR also works closely with
vehicle manufactures to deliver training in support of
vehicle maker collision repair network programs.Presentation abstract -
