Week 2011
WHEN:
December
6-8, 2011
WHERE:
Portofino
Hotel, Redondo Beach, California
Servicing vehicles has become more complex and accurate information is
essential building the tools and equipment to perform the necessary
repairs. Winter Tech Week is the only forum of its kind to
facilitate the much needed exchange of information between OEM’s and
the aftermarket.
ETI and JAMA make possible the interaction between the Japanese
Automakers and ETI Members and with the addition of Korean Automakers,
Winter Tech Week has become an even more important event as sales
continue to rise in the US.
Winter Tech Week is ETI Members opportunity to learn about new model
vehicles to understand the scope of the proper tools, equipment, and
information that are needed to work on these vehicles.
Winter Tech Week continues to provide OEM
engineers and designers; and ETI companies, the makers of tools and
equipment; an opportunity to meet and collaborate. Through OEM
presentations, panel discussions and hands-on demonstrations, these
professionals discuss the upcoming service needs of new makes and
models, and the changes necessary in the tool and equipment industry to
meet those needs.
ETI members come to Winter Tech Week for one purpose: to get
information on specifications, procedural guidelines, new product
information, and industry trends. The focus of Winter Tech Week
is new technologies and standards being implemented and planning for
those technologies, repair and service tools needed for new models,
specifications needed to ensure that vehicles are properly diagnosed,
repaired or adjusted, service procedures required for new models, and
to discuss information required by regulations and industry agreements.
